Structural and optical properties of Mn2O3 nanoparticles & its gas sensing applications

چکیده

Mn2O3 nanoparticles have been synthesized using chemical co-precipitation method. The as were characterized by X-ray diffractometer (XRD), UV-Visible spectrophotometer (UV-Vis) and Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR) results indicate that possessed crystallites having sizes 12.56 nm 11.90 with cubic orthorhombic structures respectively. two samples are named M1 M2. gas response of both the was investigated for different concentrations NH3 at room temperature. Sample M2 based thick film sensor showed enhanced sensing performance in comparison to sample M1. This is attributed smaller crystallite size 67.1% recovery times 65 71 sec fabricated show promising use temperature sensors.
